Specialty Global Insurance is launching a nationwide Travel Agents E&O program. The new program is designed for travel agents and tour operators with gross written receipts of $5,000,000 or more.
Specialty Global declined to disclose the carrier’s name but advised it has signed an agreement with a leading A (XV) rated carrier partner for the program. The program will be available in all 50 states on an admitted basis. Pending state approvals, coverage may be available on an excess and surplus lines basis for accounts that are unable to purchase insurance in the admitted market.
“We are pleased to be able to offer professionals in the travel industry a better solution for E&O coverage. The U.S. travel industry has had very few alternatives for this coverage, and we have worked hard with our partner to craft what we believe is an attractive and very competitive program,” stated Laura Corogenes, Specialty Global’s director of Underwriting.
With offices in Kansas City and New York, Specialty Global Insurance Services is a division of MPP Company Inc., an underwriting and claims manager providing specialized products and programs for a variety of niche markets.
