CarInsurance.com, which sells auto insurance over the Internet, has added more carriers to its current 28 state agency product offering.
In November and December 2007, the firm expanded and now offers Encompass Insurance – Allstate and Progressive Drive in Arizona; Progressive Drive in Georgia; Progressive Drive in Michigan; Progressive Drive in Ohio; Progressive Drive and Unitrin Direct in Pennsylvania; Unitrin Direct and Esurance in Kentucky; Direct General in Texas; Progressive Drive in Illinois; Progressive Drive in Indiana; and Progressive Drive and Unitrin Direct in South Carolina.
Throughout 2007, CarInsurance.com expanded its agency into 11 new states including Minnesota, New York, Virginia, Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania.
CarInsurance.com said it will continue to move into more states and add more insurance carriers in its existing states throughout 2008.
CarInsurance.com currently offers automobile insurance through its online agency in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
CarInsurance.com, Inc., based in Altamonte Springs, Florida, enables consumers to compare and buy auto insurance directly from multiple insurance companies including Direct General Insurance Co., Encompass Insurance – Allstate, Esurance, Progressive Drive (Drive Insurance in California), Safeco Insurance, The Hartford, Travelers, and Unitrin Direct.
