Sports Insurance Specialists (SIS), LLC, a sports and special events insurance brokerage has opened in Fort Wayne, Ind. The brokerage was started by Jeff Ladd, who most recently served as a liaison for sports insurance markets. The organization specializes in creating risk management options for sports- and special event-related activities through insurance coverage for participant liability, spectator liability, sports teams, venues, facilities, and sanctioning bodies. SIS began operations in August 2011, and services a client base across North America.
Sports Insurance Specialists focuses on providing risk management for a variety of local, regional, and national sporting and special events activities, including amateur leagues, professional and semi-professional sports teams, sporting and event facilities, motorsports events, concerts, conventions, and the sanctioning bodies, administrative staff and personnel associated with each venue.
