XL Catlin’s Excess & Surplus (E&S) Casualty business has unveiled a new geographically-focused structure and named three new regional leaders.
Coy Rudd is appointed East regional vice president in New York; Ankur Chokshi was named Central regional vice president, based in Chicago while Scott Noffsinger assumes the Western regional vice president role, working from Scottsdale, Arizona.
John Goodloe, president of XL Catlin’s E&S, Casualty team, said the merger of XL Group and Catlin Group’s E&S capabilities has created a “much larger, experienced and eager Casualty E&S operation.” This new geographic alignment allows underwriters to be closer to brokers and clients and on top of state requirements and related legal environments, he said.
The E&S Casualty product lines include commercial excess liability insurance coverage for contractors, products liability, general casualty, and transportation classes of business on both a primary and excess basis. XL Catlin’s insurance segment U.S. products are offered on a non-admitted basis and are distributed exclusively through licensed, appointed surplus lines wholesale brokers.
