Chamberlain Named Small Commercial Operations and Service Solutions Leader

Nationwide has tapped Joe Chamberlain to lead its small commercial operations and service solutions organization. Chamberlain has over 30 years of underwriting and operations leadership experience in the insurance industry.
Most recently, he served as chief administrative officer at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, where he oversaw operations across multiple commercial lines, including property, marine, workers’ compensation, financial lines and political risk. He’s also held leadership roles with Alliant, CNA and Lamb Insurance Services. Chamberlain will join Nationwide’s small commercial leadership team.
Duck Creek Appoints Former PowerSchool CEO Gulati as CEO
Duck Creek Technologies, headquartered in Boston, named Hardeep Gulati as CEO. Mike Jackowski, who has led Duck Creek as CEO since 2011, will transition to a new role as vice chair of the board of directors, where he will focus on strategic growth and business development initiatives.
Gulati has nearly three decades of technology leadership experience. He most recently served as CEO of PowerSchool, where for more than ten years he scaled a $100 million business into the largest provider of cloud-based software for K–12 education in North America.
Gulati will accelerate Duck Creek’s transformation into an AI-first enterprise, embedding intelligence across every product and solution.
