The number of people killed in traffic accidents in Oklahoma continues to fall below the numbers in 2007.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 500 people have died on the state’s roadways in 2008 compared to 544 at this time last year.
The OHP says 38 people have been killed so far in September – down by 13 from the 51 who had died in auto accidents at this time in September 2007.
