The Texas Windstorm Insurance Association is advising agents that the web address for its E-Quote login will change on Dec. 13, 2012.
The old login address, https://quote.twia.org/twia/do/login, for use prior to Dec. 13, 2012, will change to https://portal.twia.org/twia/do/login, for use on or after that date.
If an agent currently uses the old E-Quote login through use of a “saved” bookmark or “favorite”, it will not work after Dec. 13, 2012. The bookmark needs to be updated to the new URL address mentioned above to access E-Quote on or after Dec. 13, 2012.
If an agent routinely accesses E-Quote by using the Agent Login button at www.twia.org, they will not notice any changes and the login to E-Quote should work.
TWIA is changing the first part of the E-Quote address from ‘quote’ to ‘portal’ to maintain consistency with the TWIA portals.
