MarketScout, the national electronic insurance exchange and specialty MGA headquartered in Dallas, Texas, has expanded its nationwide specialty high-net-worth underwriting and brokerage practice with the addition of Daniela Pelligrinelli-Finch as national managing director of admitted markets.
Finch was formerly a managing director of PCIG, the wholesale operation owned by Celedinas, a large high-net-worth retail broker in Southern Florida. She will be responsible for further developing MarketScout’s admitted market operations and will work with the MarketScout non-admitted underwriting team to develop new business opportunities.
MarketScout is devoting significant resources to the private client space as demonstrated by several notable high profile hires in the last two months. Additionally, MarketScout has founded the Council for Insuring Private Clients (CIPC) in cooperation with ACE, AIG, and Fireman’s Fund. Over 100 specialty high-net-worth retail agents and additional insurers such as Lexington, Lloyd’s of London and Ironshore have also joined the CIPC.
