Energi, a provider of risk management and insurance programs for the energy industry, has opened a new satellite office in Irving, Texas. The new office is located in The Towers at Williams Square.
Energi also plans to open an additional office in Chicago in late January 2014.
Following the opening of the Chicago office, Energi will operate offices in seven states: Massachusetts; Florida; New Jersey; Connecticut; California; Texas; and Illinois.
The new offices continue Energi’s recent momentum across a range of energy markets, including the Energi Oil & Gas Drilling Symposium, a pilot research project with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the company said.
Energi is a Peabody, Mass.-based industrial reinsurance company that provides specialized insurance and risk management products to targeted market segments of the North American energy industry. The core programs include fuel distribution, fuel transport, energy construction, agricultural cooperatives, renewable energy, energy efficiency, utilities and oil & gas exploration. Founded in 2005 by insurance professionals and energy industry leaders, Energi is licensed in all 50 states.
