MarketScout has added two underwriters in its Restaurants, Bars, and Taverns (RBT) underwriting facility in the company’s Dallas headquarters.
Jessica Johnston joins the RBT underwriting team as a commercial underwriter, responsible for underwriting a diverse range of risks for restaurants, bars and taverns exposures. Prior to joining MarketScout, Johnston was a commercial underwriter for B&H Risk Services. Previously, she was a commercial underwriter for McClelland and Hine Inc.
Joan Talent will serve as a senior underwriting assistant for the RBT program. Talent has over 25 years of experience in insurance underwriting and rating activities. Prior to joining MarketScout, Talent was an underwriting support technician at AmTrust North America. Previously, she was the senior underwriting assistant at American International Group.
