A storm system could yield snow and ice in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas, according to the National Weather Service.
The NWS issued a winter weather advisory for Tuesday through Wednesday morning for parts of western Texas, Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas.
Up to three inches of snow are possible in the region, while heavy rains in eastern Arkansas are possible, with 6 to 8 inches of rain in the eastern portion of the state possible.
