Alternative Service Concepts Promotes Barnes to Claims Manager in Houston

Alternative Service Concepts (ASC), a national workers’ compensation and liability third-party claims administrator (TPA), has promoted Jolie Barnes to claims manager. She is based in Houston.

Barnes brings more than 20 years’ of insurance industry experience to her new title. She has served as a dedicated senior liability claims adjuster since coming to work for ASC in July 2015. Barnes will report to Regional Claims Manager Pat Piper, who is based in ASC’s Irving, Texas, office.

Prior to joining ASC, Barnes worked for Crawford & Company where she served as the dedicated claim adjuster for the same Houston-based client from 2007 through mid-2015. Her background also includes service as a casualty claims adjuster for GAB Robins, Progressive Insurance and Auto Club.

As claims manager, Barnes will train client managers, prepare status reports for discussion at client management meetings, and continue to work closely with the dedicated client, customers, insurance carrier and their legal team to assure the best outcomes possible.

ASC is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
