Myers Joins Alliant’s Texas Team

Mike Myers has joined Alliant Insurance Services as vice president within its employee benefits group. Based in Dallas, Texas, Myers will design and implement strategic employee benefits solutions that add value and provide long-term financial strength to a diverse and growing client base.

Myers joins Alliant with nearly 30 years of healthcare and benefits industry experience. Before joining Alliant, Myers was vice president/senior benefit consultant at a risk management and benefits consulting firm working with clients across various industries and disciplines.

Goosehead Names Chief Financial Officer

Goosehead Insurance, Inc., an independent personal lines insurance franchise operation, has promoted Mark Jones, Jr., to the executive team as chief financial officer.

Jones joined Goosehead, in 2016 as its controller and was promoted in 2020 to vice president of finance. He was instrumental to Goosehead’s IPO in 2018 and has been responsible for overseeing SEC reporting, financial planning and analysis, as well as directly managing Goosehead’s finance team.

Prior to joining Goosehead, Jones worked in Ernst & Young’s Audit practice.

Goosehead, headquartered in Westlake, Texas, represents over 140 insurance companies that underwrite personal lines and small commercial lines risks, and its operations include a network of 15 corporate sales offices and 2,341 operating and contracted franchise locations.
