The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the death of a man at a McDowell County, W. Va., metal processing plant.
Authorities say 46-year-old Mohegan, W. Va., resident Robert Lee Pack died after after an accident at Urps Metal in Davy, W. Va. Pack’s sister, Sally Duncan, says he was taken to Welch Community Hospital on Jan. 17.
Stan Elliott, director of the OSHA office in Charleston, W. Va., confirmed that the agency is investigating the fatality.
