IAT Insurance Group, a provider of specialty property and casualty products, has hired a team of eight underwriters to its Specialty Brokerage division.
All eight previously worked together at Hanover Insurance under Mark Boland, who joined IAT last year as a vice president to lead its Specialty unit’s Brokerage division. The new underwriters will also be part of Boland’s team at IAT.
The underwriters joining IAT are:
- Paul Gadaleta
- Pierson Jones
- Dan Kearney
- Jeff Love
- Matt Love
- Jose (Joe) Marques
- Josh O’Neill
- John Puccio
According to Julie Brown, senior vice president, IAT Specialty, the new underwriters will provide more resource and support for IAT’s Specialty Brokerage organization as it continues to build its excess and surplus business.
IAT’s Specialty group is generally focused on providing coverage for small-to-medium business risks that standard markets may not insure. The Specialty group provides commercial insurance for general liability, property, garage liability and excess/umbrella, plus ancillary coverages.
IAT Insurance Group is a privately owned, specialty insurance company providing property and casualty products for businesses and individuals. IAT goes to market through seven business units – Commercial Transportation, Specialty, Programs, Inland Marine, Excess Casualty Mid-Market, Reinsurance, and IFIC Surety. The IAT Insurance Group companies are rated A- Excellent by A.M. Best.
