Exceptional Risk Advisors, a Lloyd’s of London coverholder, has acquired assets of International Specialty Insurance Services.
Headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C., International Specialty Insurance designs insurance programs for entrepreneurs, executives, entertainers and athletes, including people in professional sports, entertainment and corporate America.
The entire International Specialty Insurance team, including Managing Directors Matthew and Joseph Ferraro, will join Exceptional Risk Advisors.
This transaction closed on Dec. 31, 2020.
According to Chris Lack, a partner with Exceptional Risk Advisors, this acquisition comes at a time when the market is rapidly hardening and by joining forces with ISI it can help navigate those changes.
“Our goal is to operate as one brand, under one set of rates and underwriting protocols,” Lack said.
Founded in 2007, Exceptional Risk Advisors develops is located in Mahwah, N.J.
