The Alabama Department of Insurance has named Nicole Boswell accounting director.

Boswell, with the department since 2008, previously was accounting manager of financial operations and assistant financial officer for the department. She has overseen the department’s budget, accounts payable, cash management and payroll, ALDOI said in a bulletin this week.
Boswell also is the National Governing Board Area Director 4 for AGA, formerly known as the Association of Government Accountants. She is a native of Tuskegee, Alabama, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Troy University, and a master of business administration degree from Troy University Montgomery.
