King Risk Partners, based in Gainesville, Florida, has acquired Watts, Dawson & Associates, an independent agency with offices in Temple Terrace and Valrico, Florida.
The move expands King Risk’s presence in Florida, the company said in an announcement this week.
The WDA agency has been in operation for more than 50 years, providing homeowners, auto and commercial coverage solutions. John Watts launched the firm in 1974, and it was merged with Bob Dawson’s agency in 1984, according to the agency website. The agency has expanded in recent years with the purchase of five other agencies.
Agency partners include Robert Dawson, John Watts, and Shelly Levine.
King Risk also has continued to expand in recent years with the acquisition of agencies around Florida.
