Janet Kidd joined the Insurance Industry Charitable Fund as regional vice president for Southern California. Kidd’s responsibilities include handling all aspects of fundraising and program development in Southern California, as well as IICF board relations.
Prior to joining the IICF, Kidd was the executive vice president of Association Management Services. She also served as the executive director of the California Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for five years. Kidd’s insurance industry experience includes working in bookkeeping, underwriting and marketing for a commercial agency and serving as vice president of education and meetings for the Professional Insurance Agents of California and Nevada.
“I am excited to bring my career full circle and back to my roots in the insurance business by joining IICF,” Kidd said. “I look forward to getting to know the insurance industry again and getting reacquainted with those that I worked with in my 12 years in and around the industry.”
“Janet is a welcome addition to our organization,” said Karen Chin, chief executive officer of the IICF. “Her skills, creativity and experience will be valuable in furthering the positive work we do.”
IICF is a charitable fundraising group whose mission is to focus on and coordinate the insurance industry’s charitable efforts. In 2000, IICF raised more than $1.3 million from insurance industry donors for contributions to charities and community service organizations.
