Agencies Announce Leavitt Benefits Insurance Services of Southern California

Barlocker Insurance Services-Laguna Hills, PrideMark-Everest and Valley Insurance Service are merging their benefits operations to create a new entity, Leavitt Benefits Services of Southern California. The property and casualty operations in the three existing agencies will not be affected by the merge, and will continue to operate as separate entities. Each of these agencies are Leavitt Group affiliates. The new operation will be located in Corona, Calif., at the recently built Corona Pointe office complex. The Corona location will enable Leavitt Benefits Services to access Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County clients with ease, as all three County borders converge in or near Corona.

The three agencies are creating Leavitt Benefits Services of Southern California to combine their expertise in employee benefits, and to create a full service insurance and benefits firm. The Leavitt Group’s Benefits Division (GBS Benefits) will also participate in the merge, and will provide ongoing support to the agency, such as additional products, markets and client support. Additionally, the sales and service team of Leavitt Benefit Services has expertise ranging from small groups of two to 50 employees and into those employers with more sophisticated planning requirements that may involve alternative funding or union contracts and several thousand employees.

Each agency involved in the merger has a long history of service in the Southern California area. Barlocker Insurance Services was formed more than 37 years ago to handle the insurance and risk management needs. PrideMark-Everest Insurance opened its doors in 1936, and in 2006 was joined by Everest Insurance Agency and Holdren Insurance Agency. For more than 65 years, Valley Insurance Service has provided creative and innovative solutions to help stabilize unforeseen financial burdens faced by businesses and families.

As Leavitt Group affiliates, each agency is part of a network of more than 80 independent insurance agencies in 115 locations across the United States.
