Trans Cal has sold all Zurich transportation accounts of Trans Cal to Cochrane & Co. Inc., the Spokane, Wash., company announced. The sale became effective on Dec. 31, 2009, and applies to existing Zurich accounts and to all open quotes.
With thesale Cochrane and Co., a family owned and operated business established in 1960 and based out of Spokane, will increases its presence in California. “We are building on our already successful Southern California office, and making Cochrane & Co. one of the largest Zurich transportation writers in the country,” the company said in a statement.
Trans Cal, under the ownership of Mark and Gray Scott, will continue offering non-Zurich products and providing its usual services. For information, visit www.cochraneco.com
