Yates & Associates Insurance Services Expands in Calif.’s Inland Empire

Yates & Associates Insurance Services based in Tustin, Calif., is expanding into the Inland Empire region of California by opening an office in San Bernardino County. Brenda Smotherman will be senior commercial lines underwriter at the new Redlands branch. Cynthea Vaglienty, commercial transportation underwriter, will be part of the Redlands team as well.

Smotherman will be reponsible for spearheding a marketing effort in the Inland Empire and San Bernardino area. She began her career with INA in 1985 and has spent more than 10 years at Yates & Associates in the Tustin office. In addition to INA and Fireman’s Fund, she also has worked for a few years at Great American Insurance Co.

Yates & Associates offers commercial insurance products available to California brokers and agents, and has access to both admitted and nonadmitted markets including binding authorities and brokerage markets.
