Leo Tokar has joined the Denver office of Lockton Companies LLC, a privately held insurance broker, as senior vice president, client service executive in the Benefits Department. He will play a key role in developing strategic solutions for Lockton clients in the rapidly changing landscape of employee benefits.
Tokar was an executive at Kaiser Permanente for the past 11 years and was most recently vice president of marketing, sales and business development. Prior to that, he headed Kaiser’s actuarial and underwriting departments for several years. While at Kaiser, he was responsible for many of its programs and product innovations.
Of the 3,800 professionals employed by Lockton Companies, 260 of them are based in its Denver office. The Denver office, which opened in 1979, specializes in insurance, benefits and risk management services in the real estate, construction, healthcare, food service and transportation industries. It also has strong expertise in executive risks for corporations.
