Heffernan Insurance Brokers based in Walnut Creek, Calif., has joined German-based UNISONBrokers, a global broker network, to facilitate its placement and servicing of insurance business in foreign countries.
Unison, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, is one of the largest independent networks of mid-sized insurance brokers, specializing in international insurance programs and solutions for all significant industrial regions worldwide.
Mary Castiglia, Heffernan’s senior vice president, said joining the network is “a great way to offer our tech and international mid-market clients a tailored, international solution often available only to larger companies.”
