Champion Risk in California Names Neal Director of Operations, Peretz Marketing & Communications Director

San Diego, Calif.-based Champion Risk & Insurance Services has hired Kristy Neal as director of operations and Rachel Peretz to lead thee marketing and communications department

Neal is charged with making the agency more efficient, and building momentum for growth and success.

Neal has more than 24 years of experience in the insurance industry, working both on the insurance company as well as the agency sides, including positions with Liberty Mutual, The Hanover and Allied Insurance. She was most recently vice president of operations working for an agency in Northern San Diego County.

Peretz is charged with enhancing the company’s brand, increasing its visibility and developing a more robust employee recruitment and retention program.

She has more than 20 years of experience working in for-profit and non-profit organizations, including Comcast. Most recently, she worked for the American Moving & Storage Association, where she managed marketing, communications and business development for seven years. Champion Risk is an insurance brokerage firm providing a range of commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance products and services. Champion Risk specializes in programs for industries including moving and storage, machining and tooling, healthcare, hospitality, craft breweries plus sports and leisure.
