People Moves: Lemonade Names Burgess Chief Claims Officer; Newfront in California Adds Naranjo

Lemonade named Sean Burgess chief claims officer.

Burgess will oversee the company’s key claims functions across the U.S. and EU. Burgess will be filling the role of Jim Hageman, Lemonade’s first hire in this role when founded six years ago.

Burgess joins Lemonade after more than 25 years at USAA. Most recently, Burgess held the role of chief claims officer at USAA.

Lemonade offers renters, homeowners, pet, car, and life insurance.

Newfront in San Francisco, California, named Jonathan Naranjo a producer, senior vice president and national real estate practice leader.

Naranjo joins Newfront from HUB International, where he has been for the past seven years and most recently served as real estate regional practice leader and senior vice president.

Newfront has offices throughout California, Washington, Illinois and New York.
