Marsh McLennan Agency acquired three privately owned Honolulu, Hawaii-based insurance brokerages from Tradewind Group.
Collectively, Atlas Insurance Agency, Pyramid Insurance Centre, and IC International created an insurance brokerage presence in the state. They provide insurance services to businesses and individuals throughout Hawaii and offer industry specializations including municipality, transportation and hospitality.
Employees from all three firms will join MMA and continue to operate out of their existing office locations, according to MMA.
MMA is a business of Marsh and a provider of business insurance, employee health and benefits, retirement and wealth, and private client insurance services across the U.S. and Canada.
Tradewind Group is a diversified Hawaii investment company.
