In a major corporate housecleaning, Fireman’s Fun Insurance Co. in California has replaced all of its top 10 executives with women. The move follows the appointment of Isadora Belle as CEO in place of Lee Vittalone.
As dramatic as the change at the top is, the company isn’t stopping there to reduce the influence of males. Belle said the company would in the future do business only with female independent agents.
Also, it is replacing its trademark red fire hat with a pink hat and renaming the company Fireperson’s Fun Insurance Co.
“The insurance industry needs men like a bicycle needs a fish,” said Belle.
