InsurBanc, the banking arm of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, is now available to Independent Insurance Agents of Texas members. According to the IIAT, the full service bank marked its second year in operation in May. In 2002, the bank provided nearly $12 million in loans to independent agencies. It also offers a full range of products and services to members. In Texas, the bank has a depository agreement with Wells Fargo, which permits members to bank at a local office.
