The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commis-sion (AWCC) recently released its annual revision of Advisory 2000-1, which establishes the amounts to be paid to injured workers under the state’s workers’ compensation laws. The revision advises parties in the workers’ comp system of the maximum and minimum rates to be paid to employees who suffer job-related injuries and illnesses from Jan.1, 2005, through Dec. 31, 2005. For accidents occurring Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2005, maximums for workers’ comp weekly indemnity benefits are based on 85 percent of the state Average Weekly Wage (AWW) of $548.38. Advisory 2000-1 Revised is available on the AWCC Web site at www.awcc.state.ar.us.
