The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies hosted a forum for minority-owned producers from across the country at its corporate headquarters in Warren, New Jersey on Tuesday.
The company welcomed 20 producers from 10 states to the two and a half day meeting, which will focus on the best practices in such areas as product development, distribution, customer relations and business planning.
The group participated in workshops led by managers from Chubb’s personal, commercial and specialty lines operations, and heard several presentations by representatives of the IIAA and other industry consultants.
Chubb agency training manager Elizabeth McDaid said the forum provided an opportunity for Chubb minority producers to deepen their understanding of ways to “better partner,” and gave the participants greater insight into customer segments, marketing approaches and distribution channels.
