Cincinnati, Ohio-headquartered Great American Insurance Group said its environmental division appointed Eric McCabe as divisional assistant vice president for its newly opened New York City office.
McCabe joins Great American from Chartis, where he held the title of national accounts underwriter. He was responsible for underwriting and managing a complex book of environmental exposures including commercial and industrial facilities, consultants and contractors. Prior to underwriting for Chartis, he was with AIG’s environmental claims unit. He brings to Great American Insurance a decade of experience in environmental insurance.
Great American Insurance Group’s environmental division provides a comprehensive portfolio of environmental insurance products to a broad array of industries.
Products include: premises environmental liability insurance, indoor air quality and mold liability insurance, contracting services environmental liability insurance, contracting services project specific environmental liability insurance, professional and contracting services environmental liability insurance, excess environmental liability insurance, and closure and post closure financial assurance.
Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the operations of Great American Insurance Group are engaged primarily in property/casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of traditional fixed and indexed annuities and a variety of supplemental insurance products such as Medicare supplement.
