DeCotis Specialty Insurance has hired Robert Jones as director of Marketing.
In this position, Jones is responsible for expanding awareness of the company’s services and value beyond its existing footprint in the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Jones brings more than 20 years of experience working with insurance corporations to his new role. Before joining DeCotis, Jones served as a client relations manager with Risk Replacement Services Inc., and earlier in his career, as vice president of Sales and Marketing for The Distel Group.
DeCotis Specialty Insurance is an independently owned excess, surplus and specialty lines insurance wholesaler that acts both as a wholesale insurance broker and managing general agent (MGA) for independent agents. The agency was founded in 1989, with its first office in Providence, R.I In response to continued growth, the company has since expanded, opening branches in the greater Boston, Mass., and Baltimore, Md., areas.
