Endurance Specialty Holdings Names Bell Pres. of Bermuda Subsidiary

Endurance Specialty Holdings named Thomas Bell as president of its Bermuda operating subsidiary, Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd. (Endurance Specialty).

Bell, who joined Endurance Specialty in December 2001 as executive vice president of Reinsurance Operations, will now be responsible for Endurance Specialty’s Insurance and Reinsurance Business Units and its operational and strategic initiatives.

Bell has 30 years of insurance and reinsurance underwriting, marketing and management experience. Prior to joining Endurance, Bell spent 21 years at American Re-Insurance Company, where he was most recently senior vice president responsible for the Regional Middle Markets Marketing Group.
