Marsh announced the appointment of Angus Cameron as CFO of Marsh UK. He will join Marsh on August 18 and will report both to Martin South, CEO of Marsh UK and Marc Vassanelli, CFO of Marsh in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Cameron began his career at Barclays Bank. He joined Scottish Widows as Deputy Finance Director in 1998; CMA Europe as CFO in 2001; and Bank of New York as CFO, Europe in 2004. Most recently he was CFO of Depfa Bank, the Dublin-based provider of financial services to the public sector worldwide, which was acquired by Hypo Real Estate Bank last October.
South commented praised Cameron’s “stature and experience,” and indicated he “combines extensive experience of managing complex financial and other operational issues in a regulated environment with strong communications skills.”
