John A. Davis has joined Endurance Worldwide Reinsurance as senior vice president and manager of the U.S. Treaty Casualty and Workers’ Compensation business unit.
Davis will now be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, underwriting and marketing of Bermuda-based Endurance’s U.S. treaty casualty and workers’ compensation portfolio, reporting to James D’Onofrio, executive vice president and head of Endurance’s U.S. reinsurance business.
Davis has held a number of senior casualty underwriting positions with reinsurers over the last 20 years. He joins Endurance from PartnerRe North America where he was standard lines casualty manager. He held a similar role at Ace Tempest Reinsurance for eight years, beginning in 2002. Earlier in his career, Davis worked for Odyssey America Reinsurance, Gerling Global /Constitution Reinsurance Corporation and Zurich Reinsurance Centre Inc.
