Specialist Lloyd’s underwriter Marketform announced that M&A underwriter Astrid O’Reilly is relocating from Singapore to London as the company looks to strengthen the M&A product offering within the European markets.
She joined Marketform in June 2015 and, successfully set up its Asian platform. O’Reilly will “continue to oversee business development in that territory along with the additional responsibilities of developing the Scandinavian and other targeted markets within Europe,” the announcement said.
Robert Brown, M&A Global Practice Leader at Marketform, noted the “strong and increasing demand in Europe; indicating that O’Reilly’s “relocation and her Nordic language skills will prove instrumental in our servicing of a growing number of Scandinavian clients.”
The announcement “follows on from previous M&A activity this month with Marketform’s parent company, Great American Insurance Group, launching a new Mergers and Acquisitions Liability Division based in New York, and Robert Brown joining Marketform in London.”
