Specialist global insurer Hiscox has announced the promotion of Justin Bowen to chief underwriting officer for its European operations.
Bowen has worked at Hiscox since 2000 and held a number of different roles within its UK business. Having joined to lead the London professional indemnity team, he went on to lead the underwriting management team, established a specialist trading risks team in 2010, and in 2012 became deputy CUO for Hiscox UK and Ireland.
He will continue to be based in London but will regularly be present across the insurer’s European offices, and report to Hiscox Europe managing director, Stéphane Flaquet.
