Overland Park, Kan.-based agency network Brooke Corp. assisted franchisees and others in the acquisition of five insurance agencies in the states of Texas and Florida in November, according to a statement.
The company earned more than $600,000 in consulting fees and added five new franchise locations.
To help observers put the November expansion in perspective, Brooke President Shawn Lowry noted that two new franchise locations were added in October 2003, resulting in associated consulting fees of $387,984.00, and eight new franchise locations were added in September of 2003 resulting in associated consulting fees of $1,374,087.00.
Brooke has 218 franchise locations.
