Kansas City, Mo.-based Assurant Employee Benefits has named Steven Sack sales manager for its Chicago group sales office.
Sack brings to Assurant Employee Benefits many years of sales management experience in the Chicago area. He comes to Assurant Employee Benefits from Aetna, where he was regional sales director. He has also been the regional manager for Hartford and Canada Life. Sack has previous sales experience with Provident Life.
Sack’s territories in the Chicago region will include Chicago, Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northern Indiana.
Assurant Employee Benefits said in a statement that it specializes in quality employee benefits and services, including long-term and short-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, dental coverage, and disability reinsurance management services.
Assurant Employee Benefits also offers voluntary (employee-paid) disability, life and dental plans. Underwriting flexibility allows Assurant Employee Benefits to market tailor-made benefit plans for groups of most any size.
