First MainStreet Insurance L.C. (FMSI) announced it has expanded into the state of Minnesota through a new partnership with United Prairie Insurance (UPI).
United Prairie Insurance, previously a bank owned agency, has roots throughout rural Minnesota. Joining the First MainStreet platform is 12 insurance agency locations and 21 employees. Insurance locations include Jackson, Lakefield, Madison, Mankato, Mountain Lake, New Ulm, Owatonna, Spicer, Springfield, Wilmont, Windom, and Worthington.
First MainStreet Insurance, L.C. is an affiliate of TrueNorth Companies, L.C. Led by many TrueNorth senior leaders, the FMSI model focuses on agencies in rural communities to perpetuate their business while maintaining a local presence and legacy within their communities.
