Crawford & Company has added Gary Barton and Judy McCormick to its Healthcare Management Services sales team.
Barton will oversee bill review sales nationwide, while McCormick will manage the north central sales territory which includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Most recently, Barton was the proprietor of a product and sales management consulting company which provided services to the workers’ compensation and property and casualty industry. Prior to that he served as vice president of sales and client services for Concentra Integrated Services Inc., senior national account sales director for Corporate Systems Inc., and regional manager for HCIA Inc.
McCormick, who worked for Crawford in 1990 as a medical case manager, most recently served as a principal at McCormick and Associates, an independent contractor to insurance carriers and attorneys.
Her previous experience includes national director of sales, national account executive, and regional rehabilitation manager for the healthcare subsidiary of a large insurance appraisal and reserve study organization.
