QBE North America has appointed Glenn Skrynecki as vice president for agriculture in its property/casualty division.
In this national role, Skrynecki will be responsible for the management of QBE North America’s agriculture book of business including underwriting, strategy and relationship management, policy development and risk mitigation.
Skrynecki started his career as a senior loss control specialist at Allstate and then as the director of loss control at W.R. Berkley. Ten years later, he moved to Fireman’s Fund where he as spent the past 28 years in a variety of roles across loss control, risk management, underwriting and national distribution.
In 2012, he moved into the role of vice president, Commercial Insurance executive at Fireman’s Fund, where he had national responsibility for strategy across farm and ranch, admitted excess and umbrella, middle market, property and small business. He also worked as part of the Commercial Insurance transition team on the integration of Fireman’s Fund into Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty business.
