Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has expanded its Offshore Energy Risk Consulting team with the appointment of Dawayne Tipton as energy risk engineer.
Based in Houston, Tipton brings more than 12 years of engineering experience in offshore drilling, including work on platforms, drill ships and in deep water.
Most recently, he served as interface engineer at KCA Deutag and was previously an offshore driller with Desoto Drilling, Transocean and Frontier Drilling. He has worked on drilling operations all over the globe, including the Gulf of Mexico, Canada, Mozambique, Equatorial Guinea and the Arctic Ocean.
