Several earthquakes have rattled parts of Oklahoma a day after nearly a dozen of the temblors hit the state.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 3.3 quake hit Saturday near Langston in central Oklahoma around 11:20 a.m. Earlier Saturday, two smaller quakes — a magnitude 2.7 and a magnitude 2.5 — rumbled near the north central towns of Perry and Helena.
There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
On Friday, about a dozen quakes struck, including one with a magnitude 4.4 and two that each registered a magnitude 4.2.
Geologists say damage is not likely in earthquakes below magnitude 4.0.
Scientists link the increase to the underground disposal of wastewater from oil and gas production and state regulators have asked producers to reduce wastewater disposal volumes.
