Lighthouse Property Insurance Corp. has appointed Bill Stewart as its marketing representative for North Carolina.
Stewart brings 16 years of insurance industry experience to Lighthouse. Before joining the Lighthouse team, Stewart held positions across South Carolina and North Carolina in both underwriting and marketing roles.
At Lighthouse, he will be responsible for growing an agency production force of independent insurance agents and expanding the Lighthouse name throughout North Carolina.
He replaces Gina Stallings, who is now with the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina.
Lighthouse currently provides coverage to 33,000 policyholders in Louisiana and South Carolina. Lighthouse began selling in North Carolina in November and said it is appointing new agents in North Carolina interested in writing homeowners and flood policies.
Lighthouse is an admitted and domiciled Louisiana property/casualty insurance company, headquartered in Orlando, Fla. Lighthouse’s products include homeowners’, condo, renters, flood and dwelling fire insurance policies. Lighthouse is also admitted and authorized to write homeowners, dwelling fire and wind-only policies in South Carolina and North Carolina.
