BenefitMall, a CRC Group company and employee benefits specialist, has named Jim Scheib sales executive for north Florida, expanding the mall’s commitment to the region, the company said.
Scheib has 35 years of experience in employee and group insurance.
The 46-year-old BenefitMall is headquartered in Dallas and works with some 20,000 brokers around the country.
In South Carolina, the Department of Insurance appointed Eva Conley as captive supervising financial analyst. She was previously in the role in 2020 and 2021, and has recently served as senior manager of captive consulting at Somers Risk Consulting, Captive Insurance Times reported.
Next door, the longtime president of the North Carolina Captive Insurance Association plans to retire in October.
Thomas Adams, with 45 years in the captive arena, has helmed the association since 2013, the Times noted. The new CEO will be announced at the association’s 2025 conference in Charlotte, May 14-17.
