ConfirmNet Corporation announced the release of a new seamless interface between CertificatesNow, a web-based certificate of insurance process, and Infinity, ebix.com’s agency management system.
Developed jointly with Agency Information Management Services Inc. (AIM), a company supporting current Infinity customers on behalf of ebix.com, the AimLink-CN interface offers users advanced Internet functionality without re-keying data or replacing agency management systems that still are meeting their needs.
With the new interface, all certificate-related activities — from entering or modifying a certificate holder, to mass-producing renewal certificates — are performed through CertificatesNow. Agencies gain capabilities such as electronic certificate delivery and storage, batch renewal processing, insured self-service, and certificate information analysis.
To become operational, AIM installs the AimLink-CN programs on the user’s Infinity system. In addition, each user of AimLink-CN installs the PC-side of AimLink-CN on his or her workstation, which takes only a few minutes. Certificates also can be created from Internet connected PCs without installed software, and those transactions will update via a batch process.
ConfirmNet has agreements with a number of agency management system vendors including AMS, Applied Systems, ebix, IVANS (Transformation Station) and XDTI to develop additional two-way interfaces with CertificatesNow for both legacy systems and current-generation systems.
Based in San Diego, ConfirmNet develops and markets Internet solutions for managing complex, high volume, and paper-intensive business transactions. Targeting the insurance industry, the company’s initial service offering, CertificatesNow, provides the first fully integrated application service provider (ASP) solution for the issuance and management of certificates of insurance for commercial liability and property policies.
