Seismologists say two Alaska earthquakes were felt in communities this week.
One earthquake occurred at 12:43 a.m. Wednesday in the Cook Inlet region of the state.
The 4.6 magnitude quake was centered 62 miles southwest of Homer, where it was felt.
The other earthquake occurred at 11:14 p.m. Tuesday in the Alaska Peninsula region.
That earthquake had a magnitude of 3.8 and was located 12 miles southeast of Sand Point, where it was felt. The quake also was felt in King Cove.
There are no immediate reports of damage from either earthquake.
