Indiana Insurance, a Liberty Mutual Agency Markets regional company, appointed Jessica M. Frankovich as Inland Marine underwriting manager.

Frankovich will be based in Indiana Insurance’s Illinois regional office and will manage and grow the company’s Inland Marine book of business. She will report to Curt Nichols, vice president, Inland Marine, Agency Markets Specialty Products Group.

Most recently, Frankovich was a Territory Underwriting manager, Marine for The Hanover Insurance Group, underwriting this line in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. She also formerly worked as an underwriter for Liberty Mutual Property in Downers Grove, Ill.

Colemont Insurance Brokers promoted Judd O’Neal to assistant vice president in Colemont’s Chicago office.

Judd joined Colemont in 2006 as a property broker after four years as an account executive with a large Midwest retail agent. Judd specializes in the placement of monoline property and inland marine risks. Some of the classes of business he specifically targets include transportation, manufacturing, and real estate.

ISO Executive Vice President Scott G. Stephenson has been named chief operating officer for the company.

In his new position, Stephenson will oversee ISO’s diverse subsidiaries focused on decision analytics and its business development and enterprise data management units. He will also help develop ISO’s overall growth strategy.

Stephenson joined ISO in 2001 as head of ISO’s Intego Solutions, and in 2002 was promoted to executive vice president. Prior to joining ISO, Stephenson was an executive-in-residence with Silver Lake Partners, a technology-oriented private equity firm, and served as senior partner with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm.

Mark Reagan has joined Aon Construction Services Group as managing director. He will oversee the international practice within Aon Construction Services Group and will focus on Europe and Asia. He will also lead efforts to increase product innovation and development as well as work to enhance the group’s production, recruiting and acquisitions in North America.

Reagan has nearly 40 years of risk management experience, including a background in the surety and underwriting arenas. Prior to joining Aon, Reagan served as chairman of the Willis Construction practice.

Burns & Wilcox announces that Aaron Buck has joined the company as IT operations manager. He is responsible for managing the corporate network infrastructure and operations staff. Buck brings to Burns & Wilcox more than 15 years of experience in the information technology field.

Previously, Buck was director of IS operations and technical services for Genesys PHO, a hospital group in Flint, Mich. Prior to that position, he was manager of networking for Stoneage Corporation, an IT company in Troy, Mich.

Buck received his bachelor’s degree in information systems from University of Massachusetts-Lowell.

North Texas-based wholesale insurance brokerage Insential Inc. named new vice president/brokers for its operations in the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest regions.

Angela Needham was appointed vice president/broker for the Northeast marketplace. Mike Veniard is a new assistant vice president/broker for the Southeast. In the Midwest, Byron Sinclair was named senior vice president/broker. All three will oversee broker production, development and management of broker relationships in their respective regions.

Needham has more than 20 years of industry experience with both retail and wholesale operations and holds her CPCU designation. Prior to joining Insential, she worked for a large national wholesale broker. Veniard brings more 10 years of property and casualty experience including marketing, underwriting and relationship management. Sinclair spent the bulk of the last 20 years with global insurance carriers.

Cayman Islands-based United America Indemnity appointed Brian DeGraw vice president of professional liability for Diamond State Group, one of three divisions of its U.S. operations.

DeGraw joined UAI from United States Liability Insurance Group, where he was second vice president responsible for technology professional liability. Previously, he was the vice president of sales for ISG International/

CCBsure Insurance Services, vice president of sales for InsureHiTech and assistant vice president of sales for Commonwealth Risk Service.

Harleysville Insurance appointed Gilbert M. Benjamin regional president of its Southeast operation.

He will oversee the underwriting, agency management and support functions throughout the region — which is headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., and includes the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Before joining Harleysville, Benjamin served as senior vice president at Wachovia Insurance Services in Atlanta. Prior to that, he was with Fireman’s Fund for seven years, most recently as senior vice president of the company’s Southern states territory. Previously, he was vice president of St. Paul’s Southeast region, and he began his insurance career with Allstate in 1985.

Craig Perry, vice president of Roanoake, Virginia-based brokerage Thomas Rutherfoord Inc., will assume new duties in the Atlanta office. Perry will spearhead the development of risk management and international accounts and the office’s due diligence practice.

Prior to joining Rutherfoord Perry worked for Marsh Inc. in New York and Atlanta, where he served as managing director. Before joining Marsh, Perry spent 17 years with Johnson and Higgins in New York and London. He joined the Atlanta office of Rutherfoord in 2004.

Rutherfoord also named John Hamilton senior vice president/division manager of its Atlanta office.

Hamilton is the former chairman and managing director of Wachovia Insurance Services in Georgia.
